TOUR PREVIEW // YOU ME AT SIX’S BACK AGAIN TOUR

February 18, 2019

After much anticipation, British rock band You Me At Six are “Back Again” (…pun fully intended) for a U.S. headlining tour in celebration of their latest release, VI. Not long after finishing up a run of shows in Europe, the band will be starting the tour with Dreamers and Machineheart in Boston, MA, on February 21st, covering most major markets before ending in Atlanta, GA, on March 16th.

You Me At Six’s latest studio album, VI, released via Underdog Records/AWAL, quickly made it to the Top 10 on the Official Albums Chart Top 100 in the U.K. Featuring hits such as “Straight to my Head”, “3 AM”, “Fast Forward”, and “IOU”, it’s really no surprise that their long-awaited return has been well-received. VI boasts seamless transitions between different styles of pop and rock, with some electronic influences thrown in. On top of sounding fantastic, You Me At Six also has a reputation of being one of the best live bands in the U.K., so there’s no doubt they’ll be bringing the energy here as well.

Luckily for us, the tour will be reaching some intimate venues, so every night is sure to be a blast. The guys of YMAS are very good at keeping everyone on their toes during live shows, and they always leave the crowd wondering what they’ll do next. The band tries to make each show as enjoyable as possible by making sure fans are having the best time, even going so far as to check in on them mid-set to make sure they’re doing alright. On top of this (as if you need more motivation to go), they consistently display their talents seemingly effortlessly, managing to sound identical to, if not better than, their records.
