Surprisingly enough, this was my first time seeing Say Anything. If you’ve seen them before, you probably already expect what I’m going to say next: I was most definitely not disappointed. Although they didn’t close out the night in NYC, the band still delivered while a rowdy crowd relived their angsty teenage years. Singing and yelling back all the words to favourites such as “Every Man Has a Molly” and “Alive With The Glory of Love,” everyone on the floor was engaged and ready to go all out. Drinks were spilled and voices were definitely lost, but a night like this is always worth it, especially when Max Bemis announces that they’ll be working on a new record this fall.
