Warped Tour has been a staple of many of our summers, no matter how our music tastes may have grown and changed from our teen years into adulthood. Despite the fact that it’s often twenty degrees too hot and it’s impossible to catch everyone we wanna see, we can’t help but look forward to it year after year. This year’s lineup is as varied as ever, and it might be harder than usual for you to decide who to check out. Fear not! Here are some bands you absolutely need to see to finish the last cross-country Warped Tour off with a bang.

Believe us when we say MOVEMENTS are gonna take over the world one day. Upgrading from the Full Sail stage on their first VWT stint to headlining the main stage now, Movements are a force to be reckoned with. Putting out one of the best albums of 2017, they’ve shown that they aren’t afraid to be brutally honest with their music, broaching topics ranging from love, to mental illnesses, to death. Catch them this summer as they successfully pull at fans’ heartstrings every day with tracks like “Daylily,” “Colorblind,” and “Deep Red.”

Ah, our first cover artists. It’s no surprise we have a soft spot for SLEEP ON IT. Although they only recently released their first full-length, Overexposed, back in November, these guys have been perfecting their craft for years. No strangers to their local scene in Chicago, they cultivated a dedicated fanbase back home before breaking ground nationally. Check them on the stage — we can assure that you won’t be disappointed.

Whether they’re playing club shows sans barricades or headlining massive arenas, DON BROCO know how to put on a show. Sometimes they’re playing in the middle of a mosh pit or a wall of death, or they’re just hanging out amongst the crowd; either way, these UK powerhouses know how to make their performances memorable. Unfortunately, they don’t tour the States as often as we’d like, so make the most out of this opportunity to see them this summer.

We’d be amiss if we didn’t show some girl power on this list, especially given how far-and-few female musicians are on this year’s lineup. DOLL SKIN, a four-piece comprised of badass ladies, is a must-see for fans of punk, metal, and pop. Seamlessly blending genres, this band is putting on high energy performances and proving that girls can rock just as hard, if not harder, than the guys.

3OH!3 are back on Warped Tour for one last summer of fun. Featuring throwback bangers like “Don’t Trust Me” and “My First Kiss” in their set brings a happy, upbeat air of nostalgia to the summer, unlike their many emo and pop punk counterparts. If you’re looking to dance nonstop and feel carefree for half an hour, they are a must-see. Plus, you know you can never miss an opportunity to yell, “And tell your boyfriend, if he says he’s got beef, that I’m a vegetarian and I ain’t fuckin’ scared of him!”

If you’ve ever seen EVERY TIME I DIE, you know why they’re on this list. If you haven’t, well… we don’t want to spoil anything. We’ll just say, there’s a reason they have a massive crowd each and every time they play, no matter the weather or the size of the venue.
