Indie-pop band COIN kicked off their headlining tour in Florida over the weekend, and wow! Seriously, what a show. I got the chance to finally catch them in Tampa with supporting act The Aces, and this is not a tour you want to miss if it hits your area. Although it was a 1500-cap room, the absence of a barricade made the show a little more intimate, with fans (and some parents) packing out the venue to get as close to the stage as possible.
To no surprise, COIN’s production is very well-thought out and over the top (in a good way). With colors and graphics from every inch of the rainbow to lyrics flashing in key parts of the songs for the crowd to follow, the band created a more interactive experience for the fans.
To top it off, their stage presence, especially Chase’s, was so incredibly high energy, it was impossible for the crowd to not feel the same positive vibes and reciprocate the excitement. Be sure to catch COIN and The Aces on the rest of the North American tour, dates below!
